A landmark project on the Australian Gold Coast features the installation of GoodWe Galaxy solar panels on a six-floor residential apartment building. This initiative not only underscores the advanced capabilities of Galaxy technology but also demonstrates its ability to deliver innovative energy solutions while preserving a building’s structural integrity.
The project, with a robust 30 kW capacity, employed a pioneering gluing installation technique that avoided drilling into the concrete roof. Additionally, ventilation tubes were used to create a space between the roof surface and the panels, this approach ensuring that the roof membrane remained intact, effectively eliminating any risk of leakage and allowing for a rapid and efficient installation process.
After commissioning, the installed system will provide energy to the building’s swimming pool and communal areas, leading to a significant reduction in energy costs, with its efficiency expected to result in a payback period of just two years, illustrating the cost-effectiveness and financial advantages of adopting Galaxy technology.
Galaxy panels provide a significant advantage in cost effectiveness over traditional Tier 1 equivalents, with the total cost of a Galaxy turnkey solution lower and the installation process significantly faster, making it an ideal choice for efficient energy upgrades. The ultra-lightweight design of the panels, coupled with their frameless construction, reduces dust accumulation, increasing long-term efficiency. Resistance to hail and severe weather conditions is enhanced due to the use of 1.6mm tempered glass, ensuring long-term durability and reliability.
